Privacy

You can play without an account. We don't know who you are, and we don't want to.
What we keep
- An anonymous player id in a cookie (
dd_pid, one year), so your results, streak and rival record follow you between visits on this browser. - Your plays: the bid, debt and move you chose, your score, when you played, and anything you type in “What did you miss?”.
- Anonymous usage events: which screens you reached, whether you opened “Why?” or tapped Share, and similar. We use them to see where the game is confusing and whether it spreads.
- Where your first visit came from, at the level of “LinkedIn”, “X”, “a shared result” or “direct”; whether you were on a phone or a computer; and which country you were in, as our host works it out from the connection.
- A deal in progress is saved only in your own browser, so a reload doesn't lose it. It isn't sent to us until you submit.
What we don't keep
- Your name or email (there are no accounts yet).
- Your IP address. To stop abuse we count requests against a scrambled, one-way version of it, which can't be turned back into the address and is cleared within a day.
- The page you came from, beyond the coarse source above.
- Advertising or third-party trackers. We don't sell or share data.
Where it lives and for how long
- The game runs on Vercel and its database on Supabase, in Mumbai.
- Usage events are kept for 90 days, then reduced to daily totals with no player ids.
- Plays are kept while the game runs, so your history and the shared result links keep working. Backups are kept for 30 days.
- A shared result link is public: anyone with it can see your grades and score, but not who you are.
Your choices
- Clear this site's cookies to start fresh as a new player.
- Delete everything we hold for this browser's player id, right now, with the button below.
This browser has no player id yet, so we hold nothing for it.
